Product Overview
The SPGO seal is a versatile, double-acting piston seal developed for sealing between two media such as fluid and gas . The combination of a PTFE sealing ring and a rubber O-ring creates a compact, high-performance sealing solution that delivers both the low friction of PTFE and the elastic sealing properties of rubber elastomers .
How It Works
The SPGO seal operates through an O-ring activation mechanism. The NBR or FKM O-ring sits behind the PTFE sealing ring and provides initial preload for sealing under low or zero pressure conditions. When system pressure increases, the hydraulic fluid activates the O-ring, which pushes the PTFE ring outward with greater force, creating a self-energizing sealing effect . This design ensures reliable bidirectional sealing across the full pressure range.

1. Low Friction & No Stick-Slip
