The seal consists of three integrated components :
Sealing Body – Premium NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), approximately 80 Shore A hardness
Support Ring – Polyester elastomer or NBR fabric-reinforced material for structural stability
Anti-Extrusion Ring – POM (Polyoxymethylene) to prevent seal extrusion under high pressure
The split version is available with specially designed cuts that minimize the risk of leakage .
How It Works
The MGM seal operates through a combination of elastic sealing, fabric reinforcement, and anti-extrusion protection. The NBR sealing body provides primary sealing contact with the piston rod. The fabric-reinforced support ring maintains structural integrity under high pressure, while the POM anti-extrusion ring prevents the NBR material from extruding into the sealing gap under extreme pressure conditions.
