Product Features
1. 5-Component Integrated Design
The DPM seal combines sealing ring, backup rings, and guide rings in one compact unit. All components share a single groove, saving installation space and allowing shorter piston length .
2. Bidirectional Sealing
The symmetrical design provides reliable sealing in both directions of piston movement, making it suitable for double-acting hydraulic cylinders .
3. Pressure-Activated Sealing
When pressure is applied, the elastomer pushes the backup rings and guide rings outward toward the cylinder wall. This ensures that even after wear, sealing pressure is continuously supplemented .
4. Anti-Extrusion Protection
The backup rings (TPU) prevent the elastomer from extruding into the sealing gap under high pressure .
5. Smooth Piston Guidance
The guide rings (POM) provide excellent piston guidance and absorb radial loads, preventing metal-to-metal contact and reducing wear .
6. Compact Installation
All seals installed in one groove – ideal for smaller bore cylinders and one-piece pistons where no other seals are required .
7. Easy Assembly
The split design of the backup and guide rings allows for straightforward installation without special tools.
8. Wide Size & Material Options
Available in diameters from 20mm to 2000mm. Optional FKM elastomer for high-temperature applications up to 160°C .
